Why it Matters

Memory is the thread that binds us to one another and to time itself.
It carries the voices of those who came before, and yet, in the digital age,
it stands at risk, vulnerable to silence, distortion, and disappearance.

Eternal Library exists to protect these voices, preserving them with resilience and verifiable integrity, so that what truly happened endures and future generations may listen, learn,
and carry the History forward.
Memory is Fragile
Digital records can be lost, corrupted or deliberately erased without proper preservation
Memory is Powerful
It holds together, shapes identities and provides continuity across generations.
Memory is Truth
Authentic records resist distortion and provide verifiable accounts of what happened.

The stakes are high

Everyday, irreplaceable memories disappear from broken hard drives, deleted accounts, and forgotten cloud services.
We're building and strengthening infrastructure to ensure this stops happening

Real Stories, Real Impact

Preserving the Lipe Family Civil War Letters

A living testimony of history and resilience
The Lipe Family Civil War Letters are more than historical documents—they are authentic voices from 1861–1862, capturing the life, love, and hope of Joseph S. Lipe, a Confederate soldier, and his wife Margaret Brawley Lipe during the Civil War. Four of Joseph’s brothers also served; only one returned.

Preserving Our Legacy, Shaping the Future

A Legacy Worth Protecting

Inspired by the legacy of Rollins College, we preserve not only to remember, but to teach, inspire, and empower. Every document, image, and record is a bridge between past and future, a source of truth, knowledge, and vision that must endure beyond the moment.

Preserving the Legacy of Biblical Preaching

Faithful Words, Eternal Impact

The Word Made Fresh safeguards over five decades of sermons by Rev. Dr. J. Howard Edington,
making them freely accessible to all. More than recordings, these messages are a spiritual inheritance, rooted in Scripture, rich in wisdom, and alive with hope.

Preserving the Legacy of Baseball Leadership

The legacy of John Henry Hart Jr. is more than a record of games and seasons, it is a blueprint for building excellence in baseball.

His vision transformed entire organizations, proving that championships are won not only on the field but in the decisions made long before the first pitch. By preserving his story, we protect the lessons of leadership, innovation, and integrity that can inspire future players, coaches, and executives.

PRESERVING THE LEGACY OF BIBLICAL PREACHING

Safeguarding messages that transform lives

Since 2004, Dr. David Swanson, senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Orlando, has delivered Christ-centered messages that offer direction, hope, and transformation.

Preserving his sermons is more than a technical effort, it is a spiritual mission to ensure that
today's truth continues to speak to future generations.
